This will always seem funny.  When a person is looking at getting a powered wheelchair, they often go through a vendor, a company that basically handles the paperwork and submits it to Medicaid.  Most vendors have a contract with Medicaid stating that the powered chair will never be used outside of the customer's home.  However, this agreement is never shared with the customer.

The above video is of the Pittsburgh Employment Conference, the world's largest gathering of AAC users.  Does anyone ever wonder how Medicaid can not know that no one gets a powered chair just to sit at home?
